Fly Free with Rubber Dance birds

Hello my dear crafty friends and welcome to my monthly Rubber Dance post.  This is Irit here and I hope to inspire you a bit with my Spring colors. This time I am going to share two  new art journal pages pages with A LOT of Rubber Dance stamps. This is a Spring time here and around this half of the world. So Spring and birds and flowers are the must when you are in this bright and high mood as I was when I made those art pages. First the art journal pages were covered with liquid gesso and when it was dry I added some texture with Tando masks and texture paste. The flowers  were added mostly on the right side and the arrows on the left, but then I added some flowers on the right side and wiped them so you just can see the down colors. Brusho ATCs by Majo

Image
Hi everyone, it's Majo from the DT here today sharing some ATCs I've made:   I created the background with Brusho (first experience!) and stamped the beautiful sea creatures from the set "Something Fishy" with dark brown ink. I added some "bubbles" using the very versatile circles from the set "Round in Circles" and heat embossed them in silver. On one of the ATCs I left a little note from the crab: BRB! from the set "Sarcastic Superpower". I'm not sure where he's going ...., but he'll be right back! All the stamps can be found here: www.rubberdance.com Have fun crafting! Majo

Rubber Dance Stamps with Acetate and Acrylics!

Image
Hi everyone it is Helen here today sharing another video tutorial for you to try out. Todays two cards are stamped onto acetate sheets and coloured with acrylic paint.  This is a fun technique and I love how this has turned Katy's lovely Antique Botanicals into quite a modern and graphic card design…….and I have just realised that I have called the stamps vintage blooms on my video tutorial!!!!  Back in a jiffy!………I think I have sorted it out but if I revert in the tutorial to calling them vintage blooms just ignore me ;-) On with the cards!!! The card on the left has been made with a very old piece of acetate indeed - It has been in my craft room forever……..I think it would have been used to make slides for graph presentations many many moons ago!!!!  I wanted to show that you are not limited to plain acetate when you try this technique and that printed acetates can work too. As usual the inner matches the outer although this time I have left out the greeting as I thi
