Find your Yellow brick road art page

Hello my dear crafty friends, Irit from the DT here today. Welcome to my new project made with Rubber Dance's fabulous  stamps! This page was already print published in December 2015 issue of  Craft Stamper UK magazine and this is a time to share it in my blog  and in Rubber Dance blog too.
This is a separate art journal piece that will be made later into a book, but for now I just collect the separates and it's better way to take a good photos of those art pieces.
So this is my version of the Yellow Brick road thing; the road that if you follow it , it takes  you home.
I used a few stencils from Tando Creative with a lot of texture paste to make the background and even heat embossed the yellow bricks. Then I stamped a lot of Rubber Dance flowers from Antique Flowers set over the tissue paper and glued them with Gel Medium. This is the only way to stamp over this very textured background. The upper butterflies from the same stamp set were stamped over the piece as this part was empty from texture paste. The whole piece was painted with Gelatos, mists and distress inks and a few chipboard pieces were added over it: the couple that are looking for their  way and the home on the top.
The waved saying was added with some small round letter stickers around the path.

I really hope  that you like this piece of art! See you soon again with more projects.
