Recap November - Lots of Inspiration!

Image
Hello there! It's Bibi here today (owner of Rubber Dance ) and I have so much to share with you!  Can you believe it's almost December?? November seems to have flown by with a gust of chilly wind up here in the north. Even so, we've had time to be creative and also had the opportunity to feature FIVE Fabulous Guest Designers!  This month, our Video Tutorial Guru, Helen Allen, also launched her new bundle of  video classes & stamps  all in one awesome package.  A smart concept to get more out of your stamps - learn how to make 10 cards and other projects,  taught in detail so anyone can do it.  When you  order , we will send you the pdf file by email so you get instant access to the classes, while you wait for the stamps to arrive (usually 2-5 days to Europe, 1-2 weeks to the rest of the world).  Each video is around 30 minutes, so that's FIVE HOURS of fun classes PLUS a whole 13 x 18 cm sheet of real red rubber stamps for only €24! Now, to all the GD and DT

Birthday card with flowers

Læs dette indlæg på dansk (post in Danish) I have used: Antique Botanicals and Beautiful Words from Rubber Dance Stamps I have bought the most wonderful colors that are equipped with a brush tip, which can be painted with.  I used this technique for the beautiful antique flowers.  The ink on the edge is magenta archival, a little wilted violet distress ink on the flower leaves, forget-me-not on the watercolor paper, jet black archival ink for the text, designer paper from the stash and some golden corners. You still have time to participate in our  challenge . I hope that you all have had a good month of November. Best wishes, Susan

Good morning and good Sunday, we are soon in December, but I don't have a Christmas card to show off.  I will celebrate Bibi, and create a birthday card to honor her. I've used the colors from the monthly challenge.  I have assumed that it is the favorite colors for Bibi and since we celebrate her big day (29 years, right) You can participate in the challenge, just follow the link here Many congratulations on your birthday dear Bibi, it has been an honor to be allowed to be celebrating you.  I just have to say that I really love your stamps, and that you would ask me to show how one can play around and have fun with your stamps, it's a great honor. I hope you have a lovely birthday and that some of your wishes are fulfilled. I wish I could give you this so that I could have come to visit and we could drink some good wine under the palm tree I've made a video tutorial so that you can make this card. You'll find it at the bottom

Happy Birthday card with bright colours

Hello, and welcome, Anita from the Design Team here today to show you a birthday card I've made with our challenge colours. Here is a step by step how I made this card: White cardstock coloured with turquoise, pink and purple Distress Ink A stencil and pink Distress Ink Another stencil and turquoise and Purple Distress Ink Some water spritz and gently push a Kitchen roll over it to pull of some colour. I coloured the houses and the snowman with Distress Ink, Distress Marker and Dylusions Ink Sprays and a waterbrush I've used Distress Spray Stain in silver to achieve some sleet - just what we have in Bergen/Norway the whole winter, he he he :-) I cut them out and use a Faber Castell Big brush pen around the edges. I've used Distress Ink Black soot around the edges of the card I embossed Happy Birthday with black glitter and glued some tread on the "sign" for it to hang on the snowman I
